Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe, agree, review and try it in plain language, and LobLogix builds from what you agreed.
Short answer: no. You describe, agree, review and try it in plain language, and LobLogix builds from what you agreed.
What you do without any code
- Say what your business needs, in your own words.
- Agree a numbered list of what will be built, each item with a Done when sentence.
- Read the Living Spec, which is written in business terms.
- Edit it yourself. When you add something to record, you choose its kind in plain words, such as Text, Money or Yes / No.
- Review the checks, which are plain statements of what should work and what should be refused.
- Try the result in Stage, in plain words, with sample records.
- Review each proposed change, and keep named versions.
At no point in these steps are you asked to read code.
Do I need to know Elixir?
No. LobLogix applications are written in Elixir, and you never read or write it. A technical colleague who is curious can read The technology underneath.
Where a technical person helps
- The frontend. LobLogix does not build the screens. You can build them yourself with an AI coding tool, or have a developer or an agency do it. See Build and connect your frontend.
- Going live, after the alpha. LobLogix is designed for production on infrastructure your company controls, and someone will have to provide those machines.
If you have no technical person
You can still describe, agree, have the application built and checked, and try it in Preview and Stage, which LobLogix hosts.
