What the alpha includes
What LobLogix delivers in its alpha, the limits you should know about, and what comes after it.
Last reviewed: 6 October 2026.
The alpha delivers the path from a description to a backend that has passed the checks you agreed, running in Preview and Stage. This page lists what is included, where the limits are, and what comes after.
The path
- Describing what you need in conversation, with questions asked first.
- A numbered list of capabilities, each with a Done when sentence, which you agree before anything is built.
- The Living Spec: written for you, readable, editable, with every change shown first.
- Checks written from your specification, which you review and lock.
- The backend built from what you agreed.
- The checks run in a separate test space. A version that fails is not released.
- Preview and Stage on hosting that LobLogix operates, each with its own test records.
- Each release reviewed before it is installed, installed by LobLogix and confirmed to be running, with its health on the Deployment page. See How a release works: review, install, verify.
- Trying it in Stage: in plain words with Ask My Backend, or by connecting your own frontend.
- Versions, team roles and a monthly AI allowance.
What it can build
Everything your Living Spec can express:
- Records and their details: text, numbers, money, dates, yes or no, choices and lists.
- Links between records.
- Calculated values, such as totals, counts and averages.
- What people can do, including actions of your own.
- Rules that refuse a bad entry.
- Steps and approvals.
- Roles: who may see, add, change or approve.
- Sign-in for the people who use your application.
Limits to know about
- The frontend is yours. LobLogix builds the backend, not the screens. See Build and connect your frontend.
- English workspace. You can write to the assistant in your own language, but we measure quality in English only.
- Email and password sign-in to LobLogix itself. Two-step sign-in and single sign-on are not included.
- One company at a time. We review each company before opening its workspace.
- No formal certification, and no uptime commitment.
- No backups or high availability. Preview and Stage hold test records. Both belong to production.
If your specification asks for something the alpha cannot build, LobLogix tells you.
After the alpha
- Going live. LobLogix is designed for production on infrastructure your company controls, where by default LobLogix cannot access your production database. See Going live on your own infrastructure: how it is designed.
- Backups and high availability, as part of production on the business tiers: a three-way database cluster, a hot standby cluster and backups restorable to a chosen moment.
- Monitoring and security fixes for live applications, and a copy of the code on the business tiers. See If you pause your subscription.
What alpha means
Screens and labels will change. We work closely with each company we open, and we would rather hear what is wrong than have you work around it. Contact us.
